How does my order ship?

Based on the delivery schedule that you select, your order will be shipped within the United States using one of our preferred carriers. Please note if you choose overnight service, shipping charges displayed on the website are for smaller shipments. Large orders will be shipped standard service or charged actual overnight freight charges prior to shipping. Currently, all international shipments are shipped via Federal Express or USPS.

When will I receive my order?

If your order is placed before 12:00 pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday, then we will do our very best to ship your order that same business day.  Your order should arrive within 3-7 business days once shipped, barring any unforeseen issues.  Overnight  and expedited orders are also shipped and delivered Monday through Friday (no weekend service or Holiday's). Please call Customer Service if you have an urgent order.   International orders can expect up to 4 -6 weeks for delivery, barring any Clearance/Customs issues. Sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise that can delay a shipment’s arrival.


Does Thorne ship internationally?

Yes. Thorne does ship its products internationally.  Please review the list of Countries located in the lower left corner of the home page, using the drop down arrow,  to see what Countries we currently ship to.

If you order on thorne.com, please allow up to four to six weeks for delivery, barring any unforeseen Clearance/Customs issues. Please note the end user is responsible for any duty/tax and Customs fees that may be due at time of delivery. Will there be shipping fees charged on my order?

All retail orders that are shipped within the United States – except to Alaska and Hawaii – receive free “Ground” shipping. All wholesale orders that have a minimum purchase of $200.00 will also receive free “Ground” shipping. If your wholesale order total is less than $200.00, then a shipping fee of $11.95 is charged. For Alaska and Hawaii orders, shipping is free if the order is more than $300, otherwise the shipping fee will vary, with a minimum shipping fee of $30.00. Expedited shipping, such as overnight shipping, is available by request, for an additional shipping fee. Please note overnight shipping charges displayed on the website is for smaller shipments. Large orders will be shipped standard service or charged actual overnight freight charges prior to shipping.  For international orders (outside the United States and Canada), shipping fees are determined at the time of checkout, and these fees will be displayed prior to the payment being processed.

Does Thorne ship to Canada?

Yes. Thorne has received Natural Product Licenses from Health Canada for more than 30 of our nutritional supplement products. Please visit Thorne's Canadian website at www.thorneresearch.ca or call our Customer Service Department at 800.228.1966 for more information.

Can I ship my order to another address at checkout or must I first update my profile?

Yes. You can create a "Ship To" address other than your Profile address when you get to the checkout page. You do not have to add a "Ship To" address to your profile.

Are your packing materials recyclable?

All of our packing and shipping materials are made from recycled materials, including our envelopes.

Will I receive an automatic notice each time before an auto-ship order is shipped?

Yes. You will receive an automatic email notifying you that your auto-ship order is getting ready to ship. Please be sure that your address information and payment information are current on your auto-ship orders to avoid delays.

Does Thorne ship to PO Boxes?

No. The preferred shipping carriers we use will only deliver a shipment to a physical “walk up” address.
